In this group project, we were assigned a theme to base a fake film festival. Our group was given the theme Lesbian, Gay and Trans. We created our fictional film festival including a logo and brand guide. We then worked on individual aspects of the festival using the brand guide to make sure all components were consistent. One of the individual components was a promotional video which you can find below. The other individual component was a catalogue for the event. I wanted the catalogue to be fun and interactive hence the inclusion of stickers. Below you'll find pictures of the physical mockup, page spreads and the brand guide. My goal for this project was to create something visually pleasing, useful and that followed the brand guide. Furthermore, I wanted to make something a bit satirical, a sort of inside joke catered to the target audience; reaching them in a way most brands are too scared to.
