For this assignment, we were given a genre of music in which we had to create a fictional band and album cover. I got easy listening as my genre. My goal was to create something personal, that felt hand crafted. I took the picture of the flame on the front of the cover. It is a real natural phenomenon called an eternal flame. The final was fully mocked up. The inside sleeve and record were done by hand. There are ink print of leaves on one side of the inside sleeve and lyrics from the song Fire and Rain on the other. James Taylor and his album, Sweet Baby James served as my main inspiration.
